Can I use an external battery pack to power the device?
Yes, we suggest purchasing an additional battery pack to keep the device powered for longer. The battery connected to the device will only be used once this additional battery dies.

What recording options does this DIY Pinhole Hidden Camera have?
The camera has three recording options:
Motion Recording: This records when the camera detects motions, this features needs to be set and have the 'alarm config' tab to be activated in order to work.
All Day Recording: The camera will record all day, non stop.
Schedule Recording: This will allow you to specify a time period that the camera is active, it can also work in conjunction with motion recording. To set this feature, use the open and close time tabs to set the operating times.

Does the DIY Pinhole Hidden Camera have a reset button?
Yes, there is a reset button the back of the device, on the right side. Hold down this button while the device is connected to power for 10-15 seconds or until red and blue lights flash.

Does the HDSmartIPC Application send notifications to your phone?
Unfortunately the HDSmartIPC app does not have the function of sending motion notifications viz text or email. It will notify you via the "messages" function in the application itself. It will show you a saved image of the file in the message which can be assessed in the "Files" tab of the application.
